Black and white portrait of a woman with dark hair tied back, looking at the camera, wearing a dark jacket.

Alexandra Burchette is a dancer/artist/teacher/host living and working in Durham, North Carolina. Whatever medium, her work is always relating back to what dance offers: a way into my own body, the rigor of movement—the rigor of stillness, how to welcome sensation, how to behold beauty and try try try not to commoditize it. Alexandra is finding these connections through movement work, teaching, facilitating, and working as a craftsperson.

Naomi Worob is a dancer/artist/teacher/host living and working many places. She aspires to find herself as often as possible on tipping points, walking toe-to-toe on curiosity’s edge, ready for a whisper from aha’s breath of discovery to sweep her off her feet. She is a student of the body and of wisdom traditions. She is in the business of serious play, gathering people to puzzle through life’s simplest and, at the same time, most complex questions: who am I? what am I curious about? what delights me? what’s in my way? how can I leave the earth more beautiful than when I came?
